Cute PIcture, even cuter story

The kids and I went to Grandville with our friends yesterday, and as always, enjoyed a ride on the carousel. Hence, the picture. BUT, I have an even cuter story: I returned from a run tonight (burr!) and was greeted by Sophie running down the hall holding a 'glass' glass. I asked what she was doing with a 'real glass'. She promptly responded, "Catching Steam". I was curious, so I followed her. Tom (AKA Super Dad) was making pasta for dinner, and had all 3 kids up on chairs over the boiling pasta water (carefully) and was teaching them how steam was made. He showed them how they could 'catch' it in a glass, and then feel the water that is left. They explained it all to me. Amazing. Just amazing. I love my husband :)

Thanksgiving/Christmas at the Mosher's!

More cookies!!

Not everyone has Christmas cookies made BEFORE Thanksgiving cookies, but we did!! Today my wonderful friend Kate came over to help us make and decorate 'turkey cookies' (decorated like, not made with). We had a blast! Those of you we will be seeing this weekend, please act surprised!!

10K Run for Arthritis

For those of you that don't know, I am training for a 10K Run in December. The run is for Arthritis. My grandma, Eleanora Low struggled with arthritis for most of her life. Her strong spirit and amazing smile was, and still is an inspiration to me. I am running this race in her honor/memory. Making Cookies

While I was at work on Saturday the kids made Christmas cookies (my family is celebrating over Thanksgiving) with my parents and my grandpa. They had a blast carrying on a family tradition!

Garland of Gratitude

This is the third year that we have sent out leaves to family and friends and asked them to return them with something they are thankful for written on it. The kids are really in to it this year, checking the mail and enjoying what people write. I'm hoping we are starting to build thankful hearts!

We had a busy hair salon going today at the Bonnema house! What a riot!

Though temps were only around 50, we braved the park to get some fresh air and exercise this morning. The kids had a blast climbing, running, and laughing! I guess we are still burning off the sugar high from last night!
