I love that once they are all ready for school in the morning the kids often gather in the family room for a few moments of tv.  Even at age 9 1/2 and even with a room full of furniture, they still choose to sit together in one chair. 
Friday was full of joy:  it was Friday!  Tom and I had a birthday lunch with Laura!  We enjoyed homemade hot chocolate!  Tom and I had a date night at Salt of the Earth!  The kids had a campfire with grandma and grandpa Mosher!
