Tonight our wonderful friends the DeYoung's made the treck from the other side of GR to visit for dinner. We had a wonderful time "playing" with them! I'm not sure who played the hardest the kids, Tom, or Chris :) Needless to say, all 5 kids melted down for one reason or another around 8:30, but it didn't spoil our wonderful night (It did cause discussion of a 'kid free' dinner out however...)

The tree looks great again this year! Kick butt with your run this weekend! But be smart...I hear it is gonna be cold!!! Most runners say it is better to run in the cold then the heat...but I don't think they mean temps in the 20s! You'll do awesome! Love you!
Can't beat good friends like Chris and Arlene! Glad you had such a great time with them and the kids :) Have a great weekend and 'enjoy' the run for the Arthritis Foundation - great job 'fundraising'!
Wow! They made the trek all the way from Cascade? Did they have to get a hotel room in Hudsonville the night before? That must have been an amazing road trip! You are so blessed!
